Tape Application Instructions - Marketing Catalog Site

Before using product, read the complete Instructions for Use (see the “Docs” section under each product SKU).

Step 1: Prepare the skin

Make sure the periwound skin is clean, dry and intact.

Use Skintegrity Wound Cleaner to clean the wound

Use SurePrep Rapid Dry to protect the skin (optional)

Step 2: Measure the tape

Unroll desired length of tape

Cut or tear

Step 3: Apply the tape

Stick tape around the dressing/tubing and apply
firm pressure. Try to avoid gaps and wrinkles that
might allow moisture to get between the tape and skin.

Step 4: Check for comfort

Ensure the tape is snug, but not too tight,
as excessive pressure may cause skin irritation
or restrict movement.

Step 5: Remove the tape

Gently peel back the tape starting at the edge.
Remove it slowly in the direction of hair growth
to minimize discomfort and skin damage.

If tape remains, use a medical adhesive remover
such as SurePrep Adhesive Remover Spray
to help loosen
