Transport Chair with Microban*
This transport chair promises less stress and more mobility on outings with your loved ones. Its collapsible frame with integrated handles makes it easy to fold, lift and pack in the car, and specially designed features ensure the comfortable ride you want and the accessibility you need.
Microban antimicrobial* protection
Microban antimicrobial protection is built into the nylon armrests, backrest and seat to help prevent stains and odors caused by bacteria, mold and mildew for the life of the product.
Collapsible design
The Transport Chair folds flat for simple storage and transport. Stow-and-go clips on the footrests keep them conveniently out of the way, and soft, built-in handles on the seat make the chair easy to lift and carry.
Swing-away footrests
With a flick of a switch, the supportive, height-adjustable footrests easily swing out of the way while users get in and out of the chair, making transfers smoother for users and caregivers alike
More features you’ll love:
Restaurant-style armrests are shorter than regular armrests to allow you to sit up close to tables and desks while still providing ample arm support.
Built-in seat belt: A built-in lap seat belt helps prevent sliding and keeps you securely seated.
Large 12″ back wheels roll easily over most terrain, and locking brakes keep the chair safely in place during transfers or while sitting.
The tough, welded steel frame is durable yet lightweight, supporting up to 300lb. and providing portability that will last.
What’s the difference between a transport chair and a wheelchair?
- Medline’s transport chairs are specifically designed to be pushed by a caregiver or another person. While standard wheelchairs can be operated independently by the user, the transport chair’s smaller wheels do not allow for the user to propel themselves. This feature makes transport chairs ideal for pushing people with limited hand and arm strength or coordination.
- If you’re looking for a lightweight, user-propelled wheelchair, consider our K4 Lightweight Wheelchair.
