Page: Caregiver Kits

With an increasing older adult population and people with disabilities living longer, the need for caregiving is growing.

At least 44 million Americans provide unpaid care for an adult or child, according to a report by the National Alliance for Caregiving and AARP.

  • 17.2% of middle-aged and older adults who are not currently caregivers expect to provide care or assistance in the next two years to a friend or family member.1

  • 20% of adults aged 45–64 years who do not currently provide care to someone expect to do so in the future compared to 12.8% of adults aged 65 years and older.1

Medline Caregiver Kits make it easier to provide support to someone who, due to age, illness, disability, or some other factor, cannot care for themselves.
